NIH Data Sharing Pilot
In this session, we will provide updates on the outcomes of phase 1 of the NIH Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Pilot, which focused on testing the effectiveness and usability of two DMS Plan templates. We will also discuss planning for phase 2 of the pilot, which will focus on budgeting and costing issues related to the new NIH DMS Policy.

Animal Subjects Subcommittee
The Compliance Unit Standard Procedure (CUSP) Sharing Site is here! This 21st Century Cures Act initiative aims to streamline the preparation of IACUC protocols by enabling the sharing of standard procedures that are commonly used in animal research protocols. SciENcv Updates and Case Studies with Data Integration Using ORCID
This session will explore SciENcv updates since the last meeting and also introduce case studies of how ORCID can be used by institutions to integrate data for reduced administrative burden on faculty. FDP member institutions will talk about how they are using ORCID with their systems, which can help write to SciENcv records for proposal development, and strengthen the data reuse ecosystem.

NSF User Experience Updates
In this presentation, we will explore the value of journey maps to transform customer experiences in the NSF grants proposal and awards process. We will begin with an overview of what customer journey mapping entails and its relevance in today’s customer-centric landscape. From there, we’ll unravel the key steps and best practices for gathering vital customer insights and uncovering touchpoints that drive real change.

Faculty Administrator Collaboration Team (FACT)
In preparation of the recent Executive Committee approval of a Researcher Profile Optimization Study (RPOS), this session will begin to unpack the challenges of managing Researcher profile information for federal funding agencies by beginning to identify institutional obstacles to effective communication and collaborative administration of proposal creation. With the help of the attendees, we will examine the different aspects of collaboration and communication, and begin to identify those topics which will inform the RPOS study group as they begin the design of the survey for the study.
