About Federal Listening Sessions

Federal listening sessions provide federal agency representatives the opportunity to engage in “real-time” discussions with faculty, administrators, and technical staff on timely topics concerning federally sponsored research. They also provide opportunities for the FDP community to engage federal agencies in areas of interest.  These sessions may happen outside the regular FDP triannual meetings.

The listening sessions will allow for the exchange of ideas throughout the year and provide a safe space for questions, preliminary considerations and open discussion. They can be particularly helpful for federal agencies to obtain feedback prior to implementing new policies, guidance, procedures, or systems.
