Research Security Subcommittee
Purpose
Reviews existing and new administrative requirements imposed by federal regulations and agency guidance related to research security, which may include cyber and data security, intellectual property protection, foreign collaborations and travel security, and export controls as well as organizational disclosure requirements. The Subcommittee generates tools, resources, and best practices that will support efforts to comply with new and evolving research security requirements while minimizing the associated administrative burden. The Subcommittee will also emphasize, to the extent possible, the harmonization of requirements across federal agencies and reduction of redundancies.
