Registration:

The meeting registration system is up and running. Please log into the FDP web site to register for the meeting, http://nrc59.nas.edu/login.cfm. If you do not currently have a User ID, you may create one on the website. If you are planning to attend the January 10-11, 2008 FDP meeting, please make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, hotel information listed below.

Registration Fees:

Employees of federal agencies, faculty and staff from FDP member institutions, including Emerging Research Institutions, DO NOT have to pay a registration fee for meetings held at the National Academies’ in Washington, DC. This applies to anyone from a member institution who wishes to attend, not just your designated representatives. Affiliate Fee – Registration fee for affiliate members is $75. Non-Member/Vendor Fee – Registration fee for non-members/vendors is $100. On-site registration – On-site registration fee for non-members/vendors is $125. Checks should be made payable to FDP-MIT and should be mailed in advance to Claudette Baylor-Fleming at the address below. The Taxpayer ID number for MIT is 04-2103594 (if you require the signed W9 Form please send an email to fdp@nas.edu). Checks and cash will be accepted during on-site registration provided the participant has pre-registered. We are unable to process credit card transactions. Accommodations:

All participants are responsible for making their own hotel and travel accommodations. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the hotels listed below – One Washington Circle Hotel is FULL. All meeting participants need to contact the hotel listed below directly. When calling please identify yourself as part of the NAS/FDP meeting group to receive the negotiated rate. The State Plaza hotel requires you to provide code # 9427 when calling to make a reservation. The deadline for hotel reservations at the State Plaza is December 22, 2007.
